Dolphin Square : Dolphin Fitness Club
Dolphin Fitness Club is unique; it's not a high street gym but it offers fitness facilities to the public, to the standards of a private members club. The Gym at Dolphin Square has a long and distinguished heritage but as part of the overall re-branding of Dolphin Square, ico were asked to create a fresh new look for this new exclusive fitness facility.
Our Solution
Working within the Dolphin Square brand, the task was to create a sub-brand that had a distinctive character and could be marketed as a stand alone proposition. The client was keen to market this facility as early as possible to attract a new audience in time for the opening. With renovations still going on, location photography was out of the question. ico commissioned Matt Bauer to produce a series of charming illustrations to communicate the club’s facilities. Their retro-inspired style are a nod to the club’s history and Art Deco interiors. They have now become an integral part of the branding from literature to signage and on the website.
